Clothing oneself in layers conserves energy. You can take advantage of your own body heat and regulate your temperature. In this case you can get by with one single item of wind- and water repellant protection, an unlined coat for all kinds of weather and seasons. Originally I combine the appropriate and the elegant, where the material governs the structure in a timeless manner. The simplicity of a pure form, as with other everyday use objects, conveyed to a body in motion, is my notion. It is of great importance to me that the materials will last as long as the clothing’s expression is desirous to wear.

Microfiber, 100% polyester where the Japanese have emulated the properties of silk threads and where outer space research has contributed a material, completely waterproof and weatherproof, yet breathes and protects against ultraviolet rays. The clothing is lightweight, has the feel of silk, can be folded into the size of a sheet of paper, yet does not wrinkle. Easy to always have on hand!
During laundry at 40 degrees gentle cycle the fibers open, after drying in a clothes dryer or ironing, they close again and regain all their qualities.

To retain waterproof quality: use only synthetic detergent, Observe! Never use soap or liquid detergent. Machine wash warm (40 C), gentle cycle. Dryer temperature at least 80 degrees (or iron)
Gotlandic woolen.The knitted sweaters of shimmering Gotlandic wool are available both in fine one- or two-ply yarn. I t is spun in three shades of natural gray and these have been dyed to gold, russet, red, cyclamen, brown, moss-green, bright-green, lime-green, ink-blue, and dark turquoise. From start to finish produced on Gotland “from lamb to cardigan”.
